ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

Is eligible for an AEC program at the Collège de l'Immobilier du Québec, anyone who meets one of the following conditions:

Hold a secondary studies diploma (DES); or a vocational studies diploma (DEP) or a certificate of equivalence of secondary education level (AENS or TENS). 

 

For students who do not meet these requirements: 

You must first provide an official transcript, a curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation.

The College will then conduct a file review for admission. One or more classification tests may be necessary during the evaluation of the file.

 

For studies done abroad: 

You must provide a comparative evaluation for your diploma, by le Ministère de l'Immigraton, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

You must provide PROOF OF EDUATION and PROOF OF IDENTITY 

Proof of Education:

  • DES secondary school diploma (or higher) or official transcript;
  • DEP secondary school vocational diplome (or higher) or official transcript; 
  • or AENS (secondary level equivalence certificate) from Quebec;
  • or GED (general education development) from Ontario or any other province of Canada.

Proof of identity:

  • Birth certificate, large format, issued by a Canadian province. (exception for Ontario, where the small format certificate is accepted);
  • or Citizenship card (front/back);
  • or Citizenship certificate (2 page format);
  • or Form relating to the right of establishment (IMM 1000) or confirmation of permanent residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688);
  • or Permanent Residence Card; or Study permit (must be valid on the course start date);
  • or Work permit (exceptionally from June 27, 2023 to June 27, 2026).

Please note that passports, driving licenses or health insurance cards are not accepted as proof of identity.

ONLINE ADMISSION 

The first step to start your study path at the College is to proceed with admission. Admission is done online on our Omnivox portal, or by contacting the Admissions Counselors team at 1.888.762.1862 option 4 or 514.762.1862 option 4.

To complete your online admission, you must answer YES to all following questions :

  • You have one of the following residence statuses: Canadian citizen, permanent resident, holder of a valid study permit,
  • You have obtained your DES or DEP or you have successfully completed your AENS or you have the comparative study of your diploma, produced by the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation, and Integration.

Please note that if you have studied at the Collège de l'immobilier du Québec in the last 6 months, do not proceed with online admission. Instead, we suggest that you contact the Admissions Counselors team.

 

You must also answer YES to the following questions regarding your program of choice:

 

Residential real estate or Commercial real estate programs :

Q: This is the first time you are registering to this program?

 

Commercial Specialization program :

Q: This is the first time you are registering to this program?

Q: Have you obtained your AEC in residential real estate brokerage within the last 24 months OR you currently hold an active and valid residential brokerage licence?

 

Agency executive program :

Q: Do you currently hold an active and valid residential brokerage or commercial brokerage license?

You will have to complete the form, make the payment of $50 and upload your documents.

Please note the 50$ admission fee is non refundable, and that your admission is valid for a maximum of 6 months. 

If you have studied at the Collège de l'immobilier du Québec in the past, your admission fee may not be charged automatically when you are admitted online. An invoice will be issued to you when you register.

 

REGISTRATION 

When you have completed your admission, an admissions counselor will contact you to guide you to your next step, registration.

At this time, you can register for the program, schedule, formula and language of your choice, and begin your student journey at the Collège de l'immobilier du Québec.
